• Remember that the Canada Day Classic is a relaxed day out on the links, but there are still a few rules of the road.
• We're trying a Four-person Scramble format this year. This basically means "best ball" style golf, for teams of four.

a. Players take their first shot, and the team selects the preferred shot from which location they will take their next shots, and so on, until the hole is played out.

b. Each team must use THREE tee-shots per player on both the front AND back 9.

c. On the scorecard, record the team score for the hole next to the players name whose tee-shot was used.

d. Teams of 4 submit one final score for the round.

• Each player gets ONE mulligan PER 9. Mulligans can only be taken from the tee box.
• We are golfing from the WHITE tees for MEN and RED tees for LADIES. Many of these tee boxes are shared.
• There are 2 CLOSEST TO THE PIN and 2 LONGEST DRIVE contests on the day. Stick the Canadian flag into the ground where your ball lands on these holes, and write your name on the back. The course staff will collect them when we wrap up the day.
• The starting format is 5 teams on the first hole, and 5 teams on the 10th. Gives everyone a chance to hang out at the start before we all peel off.
• Prizes will be awarded on the clubhouse terrace once all the groups are back in from their round.
