1698714000The Canada-China business community is at a critical juncture, where challenges and opportunities intersect within a recovering Chinese economy, which is expected to drive a significant upturn in economic growth. Increasing middle-class consumption for quality goods and rising demand for Canadian capabilities in China present a promising landscape for post-pandemic growth. While certain areas continue to pose difficulties for Canada-China cooperation, there are also platforms that facilitate progress towards shared goals.
Join us in Beijing for CCBC's 45th AGM & Business Forum, as we restart, reconnect, and review Canada's position in China's dynamic market. China has experienced substantial transformations in recent years, further accelerated by the challenges posed by COVID-19. As travel to China resumes, competitive companies need to understand recent changes, realistically assess the marketplace, and formulate effective strategies for the future.
Now is the time to advocate for Canada's presence in the China market. With an increasing number of businesses venturing into China, Canadians must remain committed to raising our national flag higher, amplifying the visibility of Canadian products, and reinforcing the recognition of the distinctive Canadian brand. Through this convergence in Beijing, spanning multiple sectors, we can call attention to Canada and ensure that after three years of restricted travel, Chinese consumers and stakeholders are reminded of the benefits Canada can bring.
